How can I help my friend with a sex addiction?

I have this friend who constantly obsesses over sex, nudity, pornography, etc. Pretty much anything to do with sex. He realizes he has a problem, which is good, but doesn't really know how to solve it. He has gotten himself into trouble before by asking complete strangers to shower with him at a campsite. Also he has peeked inside a girls change room before. He is an adult now, and I'm afraid that if he doesn't get this addiction under control, he could eventually get himself into legal trouble. You are absolutely right to be concerned as the behaviors your friend is engaging in are dangerous and could get him into legal trouble. You cannot force him to get help but you can encourage him to talk with his doctor or to see a counselor/mental health professional that can help him understand and deal with his addiction. Be open and honest with him about your concerns.
