My girlfriend and I have been together for several months. We are both devout Christians. We took vows of chastity. Prior to us getting together, I noticed her condemnatory attitude towards sex, and that is one of the main things that attracted me to her since I also condemn sex. Now she wants to have sex. I don't know what to do. That is a sin.

Look, im a christian as well. We sin on a daily basis no matter how hard we try. It is called being human. If you love her, trust her and she thinks the same of you, having sex is absolutely OK. Just use protection and you will be fine. Maybe she has realized that she loves you allot and thinks that this would be the next step in the relationship. I think you should go for it. Why be mad at her, she has changed her views and obviously is looking for a more intimate relationship. No, don`t break up with her, I think what is happening here is that she is trying to get you to open up a little bit and envelop in love with her. Considering your question as real, here is my answer:

Fornication, adultery, premarital sex, polygamy or anything that is outside of God's laws are still a SIN.

If your gf is thinking of having sex with you - you should in no wise compromise being a sincere Chrsitian. See, at first people enter into such friendships thinking they can pass the survival test. But soon, temptations begin to pick up and if you are not strong in your personal Christian faith life, you will fall for sins. That may be what is leading or tempting her. POint out gently about her sinful thought and desire. She shall repent of it to God too. Its not possible by your own strength, ask the Grace of God to protect and preserve you.

1 Cor 6:18
Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 warns us, "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners shall inherit the kingdom of God."

And 1 Corinthians 6:13b, 18 tells us, "Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without (outside) the body; but he that commiteth fornication sinneth against his own body."

The Bible is telling us that pre-marital sex is a sin and that it is something that unrighteous people engage in. As Christians we are to use our body in ways that glorify God.
