Can't play DVD on my computer?

So ... I finally bought Tangled DVD/Blu-ray combo pack that I was by the way very looking forward too

I don't have Blu-ray player yet, I bought that combo with Blu-ray just for future use when one day I will buy one:)



But.. well I'm fine for now with not being able to play Blu-ray



my problem:

the thing is that there is also that DVD - I wanted to play it on my laptop with my VLC media player which worked with DVDs before just fine - now it says:



"File reading failed:

VLC could not read the file."



WHAT??? What am I supposed to do now? I tried playing it with Windows Media Player but that didn't work either :(

I really don't know what to do because as I said VLC was able to play DVDs before and now it says this funny stuff...grrrr.... Anyone has similar problem?



Could anyone help me out here please? pretty, pretty please? If you could help me solve this problem I would greatly appreciate it:)

if vlc has worked in the past, i would uninstall the old version and reinstall a new version of vlc. if that dont work you may have to buy windvd or find a free version of it online
