Tangled Blu-ray stays on the Walt Disney Screen and I cannot fast forward?

The Blu-ray just stays on the screenshot of the Disney Palace with the water (it is actually running) but it will not allow me to forward? It looks like it will take 18 minutes to get through all the previews (but i cannot see them anyway??).



I have the Samsung BD-UP5000 (yes, the earliest one, it plays both Blu-rays and HD DVD's). The latest firmware is installed, so it is not that, or maybe it is and they are working on it??



Anyway, anyone else having this issue? Is it to do with the firmware of the older Blu-ray player? Should i contact samsung? All of my other Blu-rays work just fine and i have some brand new ones (Hangover, etc.)

I called samsung per the walt disney site. Apparently there is a new update on fimware but it hasnt been uploaded completely yet on samsung blu ray players so if u go to see if u have an update it will say there are none (it was just released in march). If u call samsung directly they can mail u a free disk with the update or walk u thru to download it from the internet via a usb flash drive and then plug that in ur blu ray player. I also have this problem with a Samsung BD P-4600. Does it ever load??? Very strange!
I am having the same exact problem and I don't know what it is. Did you find anything out?
