How can I leave him with no hard feelings?

This guy and I hadn't known each other long at all when we hooked up one night. We have been dating only a week and a half but I am realizing that, while I really like him, I don't love him and I probably never will. I want to be his friend, I want to be in his life, he is so much fun, we have a great time together, but he is not my intellectual equal, he is not interested in the things that really drive me, and we just don't have that much in common!How can I leave him with no hard feelings?You need to let him know how you are feeling ASAP. The longer you draw it out because you don't want to hurt him, the more hurt he will be. He will probably have hard feelings if he really likes you, there's just no way around that, it's a part of dating and life in general. The best thing you can do is just be completely open and honest and admit that while you think he's a fun loving guy, you just don't see that long lasting connection. Don't u have feelings?? Imagine if someone did that to you. YOu don't even bother trying to love him. If you think you never will, u shouldn't go with him at all.
