First of all, sorry for the bad english.
I wanna know if is possible to make a succesful sex change, leaving the reproductive organ of the original gender still working (Castrated or not).Or in other words, if is possible to make a intervention for be a transexual.?Is possible to make a sex change leaving the reproductive organs of the previous gender intact? No.
1) Hormonal therapy eventually renders a person (male or female) sterile.
2) Genital surgery completely obliterates the reproductive capabilities of the genitals.?Is possible to make a sex change leaving the reproductive organs of the previous gender intact?
Hawk and Tiff Tiff: you are both wrong. The pregnant man started life as a female. He had hormone treatment and was living as a man, but hadn't had any genital surgery, so in reproductive terms, he was still able to function as female.
To answer the original questioner: it depends what you mean by sex change. If you're asking whether it's possible for someone to live as a gender other than their anatomy dictates without surgical modification, then the answer is yes.
If you're asking about compromise options, then you'll have to be a bit more specific. It's certainly the absolute norm in surgical gender reassignment to remove the testes or ovaries.?Is possible to make a sex change leaving the reproductive organs of the previous gender intact? If a person transitions, including hormone replacement therapy (HRT), NO.
As Erica said HRT will render the person sterile within the first six months. And in the case of a transsexual women her penis and testicles will shrink and having an erection will be difficult or impossible to attain.
Next, nobody "becomes" a transsexual. A person is BORN transsexual (brain-body mismatch). People transition to fix that mismatch.?Is possible to make a sex change leaving the reproductive organs of the previous gender intact?
Hawk got it a little wrong.
The story of the "Pregnant man" was that there was a WOMAN who got a sex change and left her uterus in tact, but proceeded with the rest of the procedure.?Is possible to make a sex change leaving the reproductive organs of the previous gender intact?Yes it i possible. There was a story a little while ago about a man that was pregnant. He wasn't really a man though. He started out as a man and had a sex change put kept everything. So yes.
