A friend of mine had unprotected sex with his girlfriend. They baught an emergency contraceptive pill and had it hours after but are still worried about it.



They claim that there wouldve only been a small amount of ejaculatory fluid that entered, but are still wanting to know if she'll be pregnant from it.



When can they check to see if shes pregnant? How long after unprotected sex can you check for pregnancy?When she misses her next period would be the best, but there are test that can pick it up 5 days before she expects her period. Sometimes it can be days later after she misses her period before one will pick up the hormones. She will probably have bleeding a few days after the emergency contraceptive pill so that will not really count. It can take up to 10 days, even up to 2 weeks for an embryo to implant and she will not start producing hcg till that happens (this is also the hormone the preg test checks for). It doesn't matter the amount of fluid,(there have been cases of pregnancy from the bit of pre stuff that comes out during the act) cause all it takes is one good strong swimmer to meet the egg and 9 months later you are holding a baby.How long after unprotected sex can you check for pregnancy?
Sperm can live in the female body for up to 72 hours, AND can at ANY time of that period make her pregnant. They can only live 72 hours because 96.8 degrees is too hot for sperm which is why the "balls" are seperate from the torso.. so they are literally chillin out. wait 3 days at least for a test.
