Had sex during the inactive week of my pill, is it safe to discontinue my pills next month?

I had unprotected sex yesterday (Thursday night) and I'm on my inactive week. But I was planning on taking a break off of the pill next month, and I am supposed to be starting a new pack Sunday. Is it safe to just stop? Or should I continue just because in had sex yesterday?

You can only get pregnant around the time when you ovulate, and that is mid cycle. Continuing on the pill, would not help, even if you were pregnant, so if you want to stop taking it, you might as well, because it won't make any difference either way. Like i said, the chances of you being pregnant are very small, so i doubt that you have anything to worry about. Take care.
